Link Up For Pink 2

Card #2 for the "Link Up For Pink" link-up party!

"As we take this journey together, let us take the time to celebrate life, live for today and remember the lives of the women and men no longer with us"

Link Up For Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and last week I saw a "Link Up For Pink" challenge and wanted to join in. Two days later I found out my sister-n-law was needing to have a mastectomy. So, my first card is in honor of Cindy, and all my love and prayers go with it to her.

Thanks to
Celeste, Gaby and Yolie for putting together this link-up project. There are a lot of prizes available with this Link Up party but my first consideration was making cards that would bless someone else going through this struggle or already walked through it.

Thank you Cards

We have a guest speaker coming into the class this week so I thought it would be nice to share the Thank You card I made for her. It's not too elaborate but it was fun to put together.

Papers were mostly from my scrap bin but the yellow was a cardstock from Recollections.
Thank you sentiment from Simply Sweet cartridge.
Various add-ons such as flower brads, a tag and some red bling on the side.

Today is World Cardmaking Day!

I am overwhelmed with the total amount of cards that are being shown on various blogs today! There are some serious crafters out there!

For today I finished a card I created for Funky Card's project 'I Feel The Love!'.

I Feel The Love

To start out my blog right, I'm posting my card I will be sending to the September Halloween Hop at Funky Cards! The cards made will be going to children at Pediatirc Specialty Care (PSC). I'm excited to be part of this project.
